EXO to Hold 1st Japan Fan Event

Boy band EXO will hold their first-ever Japan fan event next month, according to their agency on Tuesday.
SM Entertainment said through a press release that the 12-member group will host the “EXO Greeting Party in Japan ‘Hello!’” at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo on April 12 and 13.
Through the events, taking place four times, EXO is set to meet with around 70,000 fans in total, a large number given that they have yet to make their official debut in the country.
However, they have been one of the most popular newcomer K-pop boy bands, having swept up a number of top awards at music awards ceremonies last year following their debut in early 2012.
Just last year, their first studio release “XOXO(Kiss&Hug)” became the first record in 12 years to sell over 100,000 copies in the Korean music scene.
